So my main concern is that, I'll be Facebook scrolling down my page and all the posts I see are like 'New born baby’, ‘My baby', 'I'm pregnant', 'Girl with baby', 'New born in hospital', 'Picture of girls stomach' and occasionally there’s a few cats on there too. And I noticed over the last year that a few people I knew where getting pregnant and some of them had just had children, and I'm not joking when I say, every couple of posts it's someone talking about their baby or maybe a picture of a baby.
*Insert Jeremy Kyle’s voice* 'Stick something on the end of it'
*Insert Ranty Lucy* 'You can get contraceptives for free anywhere'
In my own personal opinion, it's going too far, I mean isn't underage sex illegal? And if so, haven't people clocked on that these 13-15 year olds getting pregnant might actually be breaking the law... But the law being the law won't do anything because it becomes too complicated, and they'd say it would be to stop adults having sex with underage teenagers. Prosecution... More like prostitution.
Seriously guys, teenage pregnancy is becoming too mainstream and the law is becoming too weak, this would never have happened in the 1940's. Back in those times it was frowned upon and now with the chav culture and gang culture it's seen as cool. And then that child will be socialised to be just like them. YAY. More idiots.
I would seriously have dumb people and people with low IQ's shipped off to another country. Stupid people should not breed. And yes, I am comparing them to animals. They must be if the pregnancy ratio is so high.
Then we have the whole 'Who done it' factor... Half of these teens don't even know who the dad is half the time. In fact I know someone who got pregnant and there were 4 possible contenders for fathers, and then she went on an alcohol binge and drunk her baby to death. (Nice Morals, her parents must be so proud).
Speaking of parents, why don't they enforce these rules, what happened to discipline? Are they too scared that their child might leave them or run away. THEY DESERVE IT.
You can't go anywhere without seeing someone pushing a pram or with a baby, my media teacher is always saying that she goes into town and see's all these young teenagers with babies and it shocks her. I agree.
I think that the benefits for having children are too generous, all the things you can get for being pregnant, it needs to be stopped, it just offers perverse incentives for irresponsible behaviour. And the fact that underage sex is illegal yet happens just proves how bad the law is, it wouldn't be accepted 60 years ago, it'd be classed as a burden, you'd be cast out from society and now look at it, everyone’s having children left, right and centre. It is vile.
My conclusion is basically that teenage pregnancy is vile, if you can't afford a child then go find some contraceptives. Basically it's too mainstream and is the breaking down of society.
I am out.
I look forward to complaining more next week and if I offended you then it was at your own risk.
Adios.
Me Gusta
