Just here to complain.

So, Merry Christmas guys!!

I'm not sure where to start, how about Doctor Who last night?!

Okay, So.. Clara? Oswin? Oswald... Whichever. She is amazing, I have to admit I liked her from the start, but now she's just gotten better. I can't wait till it comes on again! However the TARDIS, I am not digging the new layout, it's not fitting enough for him, he's much more quirky that that.
All in all, I really did like the christmas special, I'm sure they'll put lots of twists in there too!

Another thing not related to Doctor Who is Merlin... So, It's had 5 seasons? I think 5 anyway, and on Monday it was the last episode ever... So, in all the seasons it has been builiding up to a really great ending, with battles and death and violence, and then the hype was brought down when we find out it goes into the future and we see Merlin walking down a country lane. HOW BORING! So, how did it end? Well Arthur died in Merlins arms and was sent onto a small island in a boat. IF BBC NEW THIER HISTORY, THEY WOULD KNOW THAT ARTHUR IS UNDER THE WELSH MOUNTAINS. I would also like to say that the BBC made a really shocking ending out of Merlin, and I also don't think that woman he married should have been queen, it really is unrepresentative of what really would have happened in those times.

Also, the death of morgana was bad too, after all what she went through, she got stabbed by Merlin, the ending of this series was awful. There was nothing to pull you in, it was just like Arthur and Merlin where going camping, and then they kill a bad guy really easily when they've been trying hard for seasons to actually find her. It was a really rubbish ending, I don't think BBC did it justice.

I'm not sure I watched anything else other than that...

So, on to today!!
I have loads of revision, and my booklet doesn't correlate with the revision sheets the class has been given, so it's confusing me because I can't find anything anywhere. I'm all motivated for once, and then I can' find the work because it's not there, really annoying. -_-
Okay before I ramble on to much, I need to warn you that Blossum Hill is disgusting. Californian wine is bad. Don't try it. And Blue Nun is very nice, I do have to give that credit.

But, have a nice  Christmas people!!!
Adios. <3 p="p">

Balamory...

Hi guys!

Okay, where to start?
So it was Sunday, and I was looking after my baby nieece, and she was crying, and only being 4 months old, she likes the t.v... So I turned it on and stuck Balamory on, and it sent her to sleep and then myself,  I woke up halfway through, and whilst watching the part where PC Plum sings, it made me wonder wether or not he was gay. I then watched the end of what was left of it.. As I woke up, PC Plum was singing about loving the country, and wildlife.. And it then occured to me, his office was pink and green, blue is the colour normally associated with police officers, but this subverts that stereotyping as his room was green and pink.

In his song, he spends a lot of time with the teacher in this series, this shows that he's hiding his sexuality through the means of a woman teacher, who also can be seen as a promiscuous woman, but lacks the social abilities to find anyone. She also conforms the the traditional caring role of a teacher.

Also, there is a young woman who works in the sweet shop, who the audience know is disabled, and she comes off as a nice person, but when you look under all of that, you realise she's just a gold digger who flirts with any man in the show, Archie a rich man left a castle and lots of money is ideal for her, he is rich and doesn't possess any female qualities and this female character doesn't pass up the chance to flirt with him whenever possible. However Archie doesn't have the social skills to understand the human behavious, and that is why, he sticks to his science.

Hmm, what next? Spencer and Josie, these 2 characters are the only characters with ethnic origins, and it is a typical stereotype that they love each other, this is a false theory because it can be seen in Balamory that she does tend to flirt with most of the guys and she can be seen as quite the gold digger. Spence is just an innocent guy in all of it.

So, the firewoman... Well, the fact that she takes on such a masculine role and dresses like a man, does infact mean she is a lesbian. She subverts traditional female roles, but other than this, theres is nothing more on her character as there is no one else she can conform with.

Well, all in all, Balamory is nothing but a small village of sexual tentions portraying subconcious messages to children, no wonder they are how they are these days!

Well, Lucy is over and out.
Adios.
